HDSL Modem Connection & Configuration Details with Diagram

 High Bit Rate Digital Subscriber Line or HDSL Telecommunications Technology is used to transfer data over Private Copper Network or E1 digital Subscriber Line. The Download Speed of the HDSL line is 1.54 Mbps and the Upload speed is is 1.54 Mbps.

The Diagram Shows one pair of HDSL Modems. In the First modem the Telephone line is inserted on the DTE [Data Terminating Equipment] port as input Data. Now connect the 2nd HDSL modem with the 1st one with the help of a CAT 6 cable . 

On the second HDSL modem , it has a serial port called DCE or Data Communicating Equipment Port. This port will be connected to a Router.
